(“Lumipol”), takes your privacy seriously and will process and use information about you, as a user of Lumipol's services, in a secure manner. This document describes our policy with regard to privacy and security. We recommend that you read this Privacy Policy carefully.
What information does Lumipol collect and process?
We would like to point out that we collect and use the (personal) data you provide to us because this is necessary in order to conclude and perform any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.
If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we use your data in order to send you a quotation, to determine which specifications or requirements a particular item or service must meet, to supply goods or carry out work for you, to invoice, and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the execution aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data is likewise necessary for the conclusion and performance of the agreement. In the case of purchases, this is needed in order to let you know which specifications or requirements a particular item or service must meet as far as we are concerned, to send you a request for quotation or place an order with you, to pay your invoices, and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, it is possible that we cannot carry out the activities referred to above.
Website, app and/or webshop:
Our digital portals do not intend to collect data about visitors/users who are younger than 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor/user is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities, so as to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us via info@lumipolpower.com. We will then delete this information.
Lumipol only uses technical, functional and analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. Use by third parties?
Lumipol does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. In connection with the performance of any agreement with you, it is possible that we must provide your personal data to parties who supply components, materials and products to us or carry out work on our behalf. Furthermore, we use external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchase administration, of which your personal data forms a part. Your personal data is provided to our server space provider for that reason. We also use Microsoft Office and its associated storage options for e-mails and other files.
Finally, your data may be provided to third parties if there is an obligation to do so on the basis of laws and/or regulations, if this is necessary as a result of legal proceedings and/or if this is necessary to protect our own rights.
How long does Lumipol retain your data?
Your personal data is stored carefully and no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was processed. Unless Lumipol is obliged to retain your personal data for longer on the basis of legislation, Lumipol retains your personal data for the duration of the agreement and for as long as ongoing matters still need to be handled. After that, Lumipol will delete this data.
Are your personal data transferred to other countries.
Lumipol does not transfer your personal data to third countries, unless a government body requests your data, for example in connection with a traffic offence.
Right of access and deletion?
You can request your data from Lumipol at any time, or ask Lumipol to modify or delete it, via the email address info@lumipolpower.com. For some personal data, Lumipol may be legally obliged to retain it. For such personal data, Lumipol cannot modify and/or delete it at your request. Please note that after we have modified or deleted your data at your request, this data may remain in our backups for some time, until those backups are also erased. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Lumipol would also like to point out that you have the possibility to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Lumipol applies a level of security for the processing of personal data that, within the possibilities of current techniques, is sufficient to prevent unauthorised access to, modification of, publication of or loss of your personal data.
